LUIS GUSTAVO TO ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR HIS FUTURE TODAY AS NAPOLI RIVAL ARSENAL IN PURSUIT OF HIM!...

The talented Brazilian is to make an announcement on his future today with Arsenal favourites to sign him.

Gustavo admitted he would welcome a move to Arsenal in order to gain more first team football ahead of the World Cup in Brazil next year.

The Bayern Munich defensive midfielder has found himself playing second fiddle to Javi Martinez at the
European champions.

Believing first team opportunities would continue to be scarce under new manager Pep Guardiola, the 26-year-old is keen to increase his time on the pitch and boost his international chances by coming to the Premier League.

'My contract with Bayern runs until 2015 but it is very important that I play first-team football to keep getting called up for Brazil,' he said upon arrival in Basel for Brazil's friendly with Switzerland on Wednesday.

'I am in a very delicate situation at Bayern and this needs sorting out. I have personal and professional reasons to move.

'I have heard about the Arsenal interest. It's a big club we're talking about here so of course I'd like to play for them.'
